Blimey. Dreamfish has muscled up his style and is making some of the meatiest, most harmful beats to be spat outta a computer for a damn long time - and here's some more evidence. Another mix of the fearsome "Retro DNA", and a whole new set of twisted riddims. Let's face it, it's no longer just a little aural harassment - it's getting personal. Cover your ears, repair to the concrete bunkers, and await instructions. Quick.

Oh. My. God. Just as we feared we were getting down to the last of Dreamfish's tunes and wondered when new material was going to turn up, here it is. And here's the first fruits - and it's out of this world. Driving, complex, funky, sussed - it's enough to make you sick, innit? Well, for now, just put away the bucket and enjoy. :)

The first release for Monotonik, Mono's techno sublabel, and it's a brand new tune from the transcendental Dreamfish. We know a lot of the German RR guys are fans of this guy, so hope you like his latest project - we say it's damn classy as always. And the title is a homage to one of the finest techno labels of all time. So sit down, relax, and check it. Chiiiiiiill.

A very interesting EP this, sent to us from his sekrit hideaway by Dreamfish in his last dispatch, along with the already-released "Armani's Dreams". These are self-confessedly 'oldskool' jungle tracks, with something of a 1993 spirit about them - but they're actually damn original cos he doesn't sound like he's trying to emulate the Amen b-boy crew. In other words, by going back it goes forward. Amen. :)

Are you ready and alert? Dreamfish kicks back with a track from his first batch of new tunes for a while - in fact, all the rest are junglistic, but this one is so fresh it just had to go out first. Minimal, wickedly jagged techno, and all in just the four channels, as per usual. Yum. And we presume the title is some reference to a certain composer who likes circuses and, umm, bells.

Dreamfish returns with a groove that's both minimal and lush at the same time, and we have to nod our heads to this one, don't we? Unclassifiable? Yep. Groovable? More so. The transition halfway through the track is, incidentally, phat. Repeat play, please, and don't spare the horsepower. :)

About as elektronik as you can get, this LP features conversions of some of the best computer music ever. Martin Galway, Rob Hubbard, Fred Gray.. legends, all of them. We hope you enjoy Dreamfish's versions of these wicked Commodore 64 SID tunes, anyhow - some of these conversions have been released before, and some haven't seen the outside of Dreamfishie's bedroom.) In any case, thanks to the original artists, wherever you may be now. Carpe diem.

Wow + ee. :) I'd really like to meander off into hyperbole about just how amazing I think this EP is, but I don't really think that's appropriate, or necessary - the music speaks for itself. I'll just satisfy myself with saying that this is one of my favourite Mono releases so far. :) Oh, and please note that Dreamfish is also rather a handy DJ under the name of DJ Hoffman, so try to catch his sets if you happen to live in the West Country, UK, heehee. :) Finally, in case you weren't aware,...

Yet another masterpiece from Dreamfish, showcasing wonderful quality drum and bass from one of the best Amiga musicians around at the moment. But I'm his label-boss and official supplier of suspect text files, so of course I'm going to say that. ;) Naah, seriously, check the flute, the great use of piano.. this tune rocks, and you know it. :)

Another Saturday, another supadupa Mono release hits ya, and this time it's England vs. Scotland in the football and Dreamfish vs. Paula on your Amiga. Guess who wins? :) I can't say much else but confirm that Dreamfish is one of the very best 4-channel dance musicians in the world today, woowoo. And there's still lots and lots more Dreamfish tunes to be released, so keep on keeping on the Mono frequency. Ballistic fatalistic animalistic. ;) We've been keeping off the drum n bass recently, but...

Dreamfish strikes again with one of my favourite Mono releases so far, featuring real record-deck scratching from the sleep-based piscine himself. It's so.. spliffmungous. We love you Mary Jane. :P By the way, I have no idea what record Dreamfish is scratching, but it sounds damn nice. I'll ask him sometime, shall I?

Well, this tune has had a limited release before, but it's such a great remix that we wanted to make sure it got _properly_ spread. Listen to those breakbeats roll, and enjoy. Oh, and turn up the sub-bass. :)

This tune was originally composed by Dreamfish back in 1994 as a full-ahead trance tune (and is actually one of the tracks featured on the TRSI Recordz "Cyberlogik" CD.. go buy the CD if you want to know what the original sounds like!) In March 1996, remixing it was put forward as a music-competition on the UK "Digital Candy" BBS, and h0l stepped forward. Soon after that, Mono was born. h0l still doesn't know if he won the remixing competition or not. ;) The vocal sample...
